Acid Ethoxylate
Non-Ionic Surfactants That Do the Job Across Industries
Acid Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants formed by the ethoxylation of fatty acids with ethylene oxide. These compounds exhibit excellent emulsifying, solubilizing, and dispersing properties. The degree of ethoxylation can be controlled to modify the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB), allowing for broad compatibility in formulations. They offer good chemical stability, low foaming characteristics, and are effective over a wide pH range. Acid ethoxylates are particularly useful in systems requiring stable emulsions or improved wetting performance.
